Hum Hi Navodaya Ho!!!

Note: This may not be interesting to those who did not study in Navodaya Vidyalaya!
Actually, I was searching if there was any MP3 related to Navodaya prayer that we used to sing every morning during our school days but I did not find any except its lyric with its meaning.
Many of us who studied in JNV might have forgotten the song but am sure every one of you remember the tune. I used to find it very long and difficult to sing then, Now I really feel for this song. I guess none of us exactly remember its lyric by heart. Do any Navodayan know its meaning? Do any Navodayan know who wrote this beautiful song? I guess none! Here is the lyric of the Song with its meaning and hope that it will be helpful to those Navodayan across the country. However, the meaning interpretation is not mine (it’s completely copied and pasted):

Hum navyug ki nayi bhaarti… nayi aarti Hum swarajya ki richa naval bharat ki navlaya ho Nav suryodaya nav chandrodaya, humi navoday ho

(We represent the new India, the new wave of India, We're the brand new lyrics of freedom...new sun rise and new moon rise, we’re the new rise… ) Rang jaati pad bhaid rahit hum sab ka ek bhagwaan ho Santaan hain dharti maan ki hum dharti pooja sthaan ho Pooja ke khil rahe kamal dal hum bhav jal mein ho Sarvoday ke nav basant ke humi navoday ho

(We do not differentiate based on colour, cast, status… We’re all children of Mother earth and earth is a holy place. We’re the petals of lotus that blossomed after prayers… We pray for well being of everyone, we’re Navodayans…) Maanva hai hum halchal hum, prakriti ke pavan vesh mein Khilen falen hum mein sanskriti is apne bharat desh ki Hum himgiri hum nadia hum sagar ki lahre ho Jeevan ki mangalmati ke hami navoday ho

(We’re alive and kicking as a pure form of nature, let the culture of this country nurture in us, let us be the mountains, rivers and the waves at the sea, let there by well being for all, we’re Navodayans)
Hari duudhiya kranti shanti ke shram ke bandanvaar ho Bhagirath hum dharti maa ke suuram pehredaar ho Sat shiv sunder ki pehchan banaye jug mein hum Antriksh ke yaan gyan ke hami navoday ho

(Let there be more green revolution and white (milk) revolution, we’ll work harder for mother earth and protect her. We’ll spread the message of Satyam Shivam and Sundaram to the world and to the space… We’re Navodayans…)
Hum navyug ki nayi bharti… nayi aarti Hum swarajya ki richa naval bharat ki navlaya hon Nav suryodaya nav chandrodaya, humi navoday hon Hami navoday ho hami navoday ho hami navoday ho !!

N:B - The song was written by Suresh Chandra Vatsyayan.

Simple Happiness

A ten-year boy went to an ice cream shop and asks, “How much a small cup costs?” Shopkeeper answers Rs 15. The boy started counting how much he had in his purse. He had only Rs 15. Then he asked again how much a small cup costs. Shopkeeper said Rs 12. The boy asked for a small cup. He had that happily, paid the bill and left. When the waiter came to pick the empty plate, he was touched. The boy had paid Rs 12 as a bill for ice cream and left Rs 3 as tip for him.
MORAL: Try and make everyone happy with something you have.

This seems to be very simple story but if one tries to interpret the real meaning, one can always make other hapy and spread true happiness to anyone including a stranger.

It is not necessary that only money can help bringing happiness in one’s face. One’s conducts and deeds can equally make anyone happy too. One can make one’s servant happy by ordering him or her politely. One can make anyone you come across in the market or walk or in your office.

Recently I was taking breakfast in dhaba which crowded and we had to eat while standing. All of sudden a young man collided with me but he politely said sorry and explain saying, “Jagah Chota tha isliye lag gaya.” I smiled and replied, “Koi baat nahi Bhaiyya jagah chota hone dijiye lekin dil ko kabhi chota matt karana.” He smiled and walked away that brought happiness to both of us.

FUNNY ENGLISH.....

Yesterday I SMSed DEBO (one of my good friends)
I meant, “No balance. Could you please call me?”
So wrote in short No Bl. Could you please kl me?
He(Debo) read the sentence as:
No bill (bl), could you please kill (kl) me?
Funny English!!!!!!
But I love his interpretation… hahahahahaha
